Visitors:
Butch Kelly, member of Roanoke Valley Bird Club made a brief stop.
Weather:
Watch started with 100% higher cloud cover but began to clear by 10 a.m.
The winds from the SSE at 4B > 2B by end of day. Temperatures ranged from
5.2C to a high of 9.5C. Mostly sunny until end of watch when clouds
returned and barometer continuing to drop from 27.9 > 27.03. Visibilty
remaind at level 5.
Raptor Observations:
Few birds ... strong winds from the SSE may have been a deterrant. One
mature BE at 10:45 a.m. Lots of TVs all day.
Non-raptor Observations:
Few cars fewer visitor.
Predictions:
Colder ... with showers likely tonight and tomorrow. Winds from SSE
