Observers:
Weather:
A bit chilly today with strong winds out of the west. Some clouds in the
middle of the day.
Raptor Observations:
A nice day of movement. Good numbers of Northern Harriers and Sharp-shinned
Hawks. There was a significant northbound flight of hunting Sharp-shinned
Hawks through most of the day.
Non-raptor Observations:
Three small groups of Tundra Swans totaling 25 birds were my first of the
year.
500 more Pine Siskins and 590 Cedar Waxwings went by in the morning.
Predictions:
Cool temps and northwest winds. Sounds like Golden Eagle weather to me.
