Observers:
Weather:
A low passed over the area in the morning, with a good bit of rain
accompanying it in. Rain ended around ten bird time, with winds picking up
out of northeast and gusting to over 35mph.
Raptor Observations:
The second and third gorgeous adult Red-shouldered Hawks of the season
passed overhead today. (And for those of you who want to nit pick the
gramar, they were the second and third adult 'shoulders of the season, and
all have been gorgeous.)
Non-raptor Observations:
Only two Monarchs today. Three southbound Great Blue Herons, and twelve
Northern Pintails. Also fifteen westbound Common Loons.
Predictions:
Moderate winds out of the north/northeast again tomorrow, so, we'll hope
for a decent flight...
