What a beautiful day! Mild temperatures with sun and very light winds out
of the south.
Raptor Observations:
A nice bit of movement, mostly in the morning and mostly accipiters.
Non-raptor Observations:
A SEVEN FINCH DAY! (American Goldfinch (800+), House Finch, Purple Finch,
Pine Siskin (500+), Evening Grosbeak (1 northbound male), White-winged
Crossbill (2), Red Crossbill (one single adult male and a flock of 6))
Other highlights included a group of 14 northbound American White
Pelicans, 65+ American Pipits, and 20+ Eastern Bluebirds.
Predictions:
Warm with light south winds again tomorrow.
