Total observation time: 12 hours
Official Counter: Zak Poulton
Observers: Calvin Brennan
Weather:
High temperature of 27 degrees Celsius today. Winds had a Easterly
component all day.
Raptor Observations:
During the middle of the day the flight path was really high but the few
clouds really help with counting a couple of large kettles of Broad-winged
Hawks. In one kettle 109 individuals were observed. The South East winds
in the afternoon really caused a nice falcon flight. 244 American Kestrels
and 90 Merlins were seen today.
Non-raptor Observations:
Red-headed Woodpeckers are still being seen in the morning flying around
the platform.
