Weather:
A warm day today with a high temperature of 33 degrees Celsius. Wind were
light at ground level from the south but you could tell the clouds were
moving with great speed. This cause a low flight today.
Raptor Observations:
There was a steady flight throughout the morning with Sharp-shinned Hawks
and American Kestrels being the most abundant. The flight path all day was
straight out in front of the platform were they appeared right over the
tree line to the North. This was very productive for the raptor banding
station, they caught 50 raptors today.
