Official Counter: Calvin Brennan
Observers: Bob Ake, Jorn Ake
Weather:
A clear cloudless day was seen today with light winds overall, from the
west in the morning but gradually swinging around to the south-southeast.
Raptor Observations:
There was a steady movement of birds throughout the day starting with a
nice Sharpie pulse early in the day and ending with a push of Kestrels.
Harriers and Red-tails came through in their highest totals of the season
so far and Bald Eagles again had a good showing. Much of the flight was low
although at times a lot of the birds were to the east. But overall there
were a good number of birds right over the platform.
Non-raptor Observations:
A lone Nighthawk and a couple of Chimney Swifts highlighted the non-raptor
movement.
