Observation start time: 09:15:00
Observation end   time: 15:15:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter:        Kyle Wright

Observers:

Weather:
A massive low to the north a few hundred miles, with a cold front swinging
south over the mid Atlantic States. Moderate rain for the first two hours
of daylight, and remaining mostly overcast the rest of the day. Winds from
the west shifting to northwest. Temperatures fairly steady between 17.4c
and 18.1c most of the count period, but dropping to 15.1 in the last
fourty-five minutes of counting.

Raptor Observations:

Non-raptor Observations:
Four west bound Common Loons, and one westbound Red-throated over the
platform. Fifty-one Tundra Swans seen headed south, but not many passerines
around or above the platform. There was still one southbound monarch, in
addition to a few buckeyes and a cloudless sulphur, the first of the latter
that I have seen in weeks.

Predictions:
North winds and cooler temperatures behind today's front as the low to the
north pushes off the New England coast. Let's hope for a bit of a flight!
(The conditions are as good as they're gonna get for the next few days.)
