Weather:
Another hazy, hot & humid day with 20-28C temps. Early, brisk NW winds
calming to a very slight SSW breeze after 11am. 35% cloud cover early
becoming 95% by 11am. Dark storm clouds with thunder approaching by 1pm
followed soon after by downpour.
Raptor Observations:
A very slow day, but the last bird of the day, a Northern Harrier at 12:56,
made up for the low numbers.
Non-raptor Observations:
7 Hummingbirds. 2 Raven. 1 Scarlet Tanager. 1 Red-headed Woodpecker. 6
Chimney Swift. 10 Waxwing. NBC Channel 29 news from Charlottesville did an
interview at the hawk watch today, which aired on the 6pm news this
