Raptor Observations:
Another fun day of searching for little flying objects in the deep blue
skies! Seriously though, it was a another day of plenty of raptors
including a nice showing of 107 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 10 more Osprey and 6
more Bald Eagles (all juveniles at 9:05am, 9:10am, 11:17am, 12:18pm
4th-year, and two at 2:36pm). The Red-Tails are beginning to show some
movement.
Non-raptor Observations:
5 Canada Geese.
1 DC Cormorant.
2 Red-Headed Woodpecker.
1 Common Loon.
38 Northern Flickers.
Some Chimney Swifts.
39 Monarchs.
Predictions:
