Long time friend, Tom Pendleton, back from New Mexico. Tom, be sure to
come back before you head south again!
Weather:
Overall, a pleasant day, WNW winds 6-11 km/h, diminishing to 1-5 shifting
to west and SW. Temp: 24.9c>30.5C; Humidity: 57% dropping to 48%;
Bar.Pressure: 999<998; very flew clouds until last hour with partly cloudy
conditions. Visibility reduced to 10k due to persistent haze.
Raptor Observations:
A slow day with several Broad-wings not counted as they milled about, back
and forth across the ridge activity feeding on the wing and never observed
migrating through. Two more adult Bald Eagles to add to our already
impressive start for so early in the season. One adult at 1:14 pm and 2nd
a few minutes later at 1:30 pm
