Many visitors (about 30 in total) including Jennifer Jowdy, Janet Paisley,

Nettelhorst, Lysanne Taylor (WV), Daniel Mapel, Peter Van Acker, Emily
Hancock, Andrew Clem.
Weather:
Mild and variable winds today, largely from E, NE or SE. 12.7-19.1C. Partly
cloudy in the morning turning to mostly cloudy in afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
Today was a very nice follow-up from yesterday. Early morning risers in the
first several hours were followed by some slow hours. Things then picked up
again in late afternoon. A really big push of BW came in the 3-5pm period
with numerous kettles appearing to the east, and then the 4-5pm hour had
birds streaming in low overhead from kettles to the NE. Hourly BW count: 3
(7-8), 156 (8-9), 98 (9-10), 25 (10-11), 19 (11-12), 304 (12-1), 94 (1-2),
50 (2-3), 735 (3-4), 1256 (4-5).
Four BE: 2 adults (10:20am, 12:37pm) and 2 immatures (10:56am, 11:12am).
First bird (7:32am BW). Last bird (5:12pm OS).
Non-raptor Observations:
80 Swifts. 5 Hummingbirds. 2 Red-headed Woodpecker. 785 Blue Jay. 2 Raven.
12 Waxwing.
