Weather:
Cold! Temp. 12.6-14.7C. Very light & variable breezes. Overcast for most of
the day with some dark clouds. Rain threatening but never formed. However,
it began snowing later on in the evening, at 7pm.
Raptor Observations:
Not a lot of action today.
Adult Bald Eagle at 12:04pm.
Two Harriers: 10:25am and 11:11am.
At 10am, another adult Bald Eagle flew in from the NE across the ridge and
proceeded to land down in the trees just to the west toward Waynesboro (in
front of the "hump"). However, this bird could not be counted and was not
sighted again.
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions:
Cloudy with rain and snow. Cold. Temps nearly steady in the mid to upper
30s. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 90%. Some clearing by 6pm.
However, Sunday looks cold but sunny!
