Morning started out with no wind. By 11 a.m. EST S wind 1-5km/h increasing
to 6-11km/h.

Cloud Cover: Morning party cloudy with high white cirrus & cummulous for
perfect back drop. By 1 p.m., thicker clouds moved in from south to
completely overcast gray clouds by 2:45 p.m. EST.
Observations:
WOW--again!
Started out slow for the morning. The gates opened during the 1-2 p.m.
EST hour when first kettle of 5-7 BW were first spotted SE of observers by
Rick Myers. Right behind this group was another 7-8 kettling. For next
two hours, between 1-3 p.m. EST, 58 BW coming in small groups ranging from
4-5 to 7-8, would kettle then stream out heading south along the ridge.
This has been a record-setting month with over 200 migrating raptors
counted in a 2-week period.
