Visitors:
Matt Orsie and his Shetland Sheepdog Jessie helped count between 14:00 and
15:00. There were 6 "Whatcha doing" visitors and @ 15 hikers.
Weather:
Clear blue sky for all except the last hour. Winds were mostly from the
west with winds from the east the last three hours. 30 to 40% clouds the
last hour.
Raptor Observations:
Raptors of the day were a juvenile N. Goshawk at 10:45, two adult Bald
Eagles at 14:15 and 15:36, followed by an adult Golden Eagle at 15:38.
Non-raptor Observations:
At 10:11 a flock of @ 200 Common Grackles, at 12:30 a flock of 300
Red-winged Blackbirds and Grackles, and at 14:14 a flock of @ 400
Red-winged Blackbirds and Grackles.
One Sphinx moth.
Predictions:
A new cold front is moving in!
