Lots of regulars as helpers, few visitors.
Weather:
100% cloud cover at 9:00, lifting and clearing to 70% by 14:00, then
closing back in to 95% by 15:00. Winds very light (0 to 1 on Beaufort)
from West early, Northwest in afternoon. Temperatures from 16 to 20C;
Barometer steady at 30.16.
Raptor Observations:
Bald Eagles: Adult, 12:15 EST; HY 13:05 EST
Golden Eagle: Sub-adult, 14:35 EST, spotted soaring with 4 TVs - visible
soaring over count site for approximately 6 minutes.
Largest Broad-winged kettle of 53 birds at 13:52 EST.
Non-raptor Observations:
Tight "V" of 11 Anhinga flew NW to SE over count site at 12:56 EST,
stopping for a couple of minutes to soar directly above us.
