This morning there was a beautiful male Northern Harrier soaring over the
marsh next to the park...gray upperparts and white underneath with black
tipped wings. On the water, 11 Common Loons were gathered over what must
have been a favored feeding area. And good numbers of Brown-headed Nuthatches
were present in the pines near the boat launch.
