several others I did not get to chase down. Thank you all for your help.
Hikers continue to come through in good numbers.
Weather:
What a beautiful blue sky with little or no cloud cover. Temps started at
66F, but got up to 82F. In the sun, Tad's favorite spot, it reached as high
as 96F. Winds were mostly NW, but we got NE breezes late in the day. Winds
started as a two, but became intermittent to non existent later in the day.
Visibility was a 4.
Raptor Observations:
Initial birds were seen overhead till they disappeared into that beautiful
blue sky. Most birds were seen to the West. Adult bald eagle was seen at
12:40p. No migrating raptors were seen after 3:00p. Nice day for Ospreys
with 9.
Non-raptor Observations:
Good day for monarchs with 37. Barry and a few others made notes on the
butterflies seen today.
Predictions:
Similar weather, but it should be partly cloudy. Good food in the morning.
One last BW push?
