Weather:
The rain and fog has continued as noted previously. But this afternoon
there was a break and I hurried up. It cleared shortly after I arrived,
but the flight I was hoping for did not. For the two hours I was there,
the wind was consistently from the SE at 1-2; cloud cover decreased from 95
to 75%; visibility a 3 and temperature 71.
Raptor Observations:
First bird was a peregrine and later 2 broadwings rose with 3 TVs.
Non-raptor Observations:
Few on the parkway, but a very nice young man from Colorado mistook me for
a real birder and asked about warblers. I directed him to Warbler Road.
Few other drivers and no hikers.
Predictions:
I'm hopeful ......
