All,
I posted a couple of digiscopes to my web gallery today. If interested,
please check out the Peewee pictures in the gallery at _www.mybirding.net_
(http://www.mybirding.net) . Photos were obtained with Kowa spotting scope, a
32X fixed wide angle lens, and a Nikon 4300 digital camera.
Should you not agree that the Peewee pictures in the gallery are of a
Peewee in juvenile plumage, please contact me offline. Also, you might wish to
check out the Peewee with food photo. Other recent gallery additions include
Belted Kingfisher, Grasshopper Sparrow, and Dicksissel.
Not a lot of fall migrants observed at the Manassas National Battlefield
today. Grasshopper sparrow numbers seem to be falling off pretty
dramatically, YB Cuckoos seemed to me to be moving. A few Black and White and
Chestnut-sided warblers were about. Still a few Prairie Warblers around too.
Sparrow Alley looks to be in pretty good shape for the fall, but nearby
fields in the North Forty are currently being mowed.
