There were a bunch of nighthawks at Tysons Corner tonight, at least 30,
possibly 40 or more. They were mostly quite high up and dispersed over a
much wider area than just in the lights at the tower buildings.
Interestingly, there were a large number visible high as soon as the lights
came on, which means that they were there all the time and not just
attracted by the lights. What fun, a different show every night. What we
need now is another big storm from the west, like last Saturday.
