This morning at around 9:30 a male hooded warbler popped out of the
brush that bordered the stream and its flood plain; the bird was
clearly a male HOODED WARBLER (either non-breeding plumage male or an
immature male) as it had an easily distinguishable hood that was faded
a little bit and was other wise a general yellow color. Otherwise I
had two first of season birds: GCKI and BRCR.
