I am making regular visits to Hope Hills Crossing across the street in the
hopes of finding something. I know it is not the greatest spot in the world
to check but it gives me something to do before school starts up. I have
been going everyday since Friday so far. Yesterday I had a couple of Blue
Grosbeaks and today I had 17 Wild Turkey and 22 Fish Crow. The Turkey were
in three different groups: 9, 6, and 3, but eventually all meeting up at the
far end of the retention area (that is, farthest from where I was
standing).
I plan on going to Huntley Meadows on Friday to try to find some sandpipers
so hopefully the water levels are low.
