I was surprised to see a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird on my feeder about 1
pm today. Temp was about 55 F. This was the first sighting since Oct. 16.
After it left I cleaned the feeders and put out fresh nectar. I also made a
point of telling my next door neighbor that the hummer was still enjoying
his salvias. Hope it will show up again - or better yet a western
straggler!
