Two people, Sy Fishbein and Barbara Perry braved the dark 7 am start and were
joined an hour later by Arlene Richman and John Perry. The weather was slight
rain with no wind, not bad actually. It was too dark at the beginning of the
boardwalk to make out more than most of the sparrows were white-throated.
After being joined by Arlene and John we walked back towards the tower and were
rewarded by very close views of the GREATER WHITE FRONTED GOOSE. It was with
some Canada Geese next to the boardwalk on the right,as the boardwalk enters
the woods before the tower. (No sign of the Eurasian Teal. John and Barbara
had very good views last Friday, thanks to a posting on Virginia Bird).
