Eleven birders gathered at Huntley Meadows Park this morning for the weekly
bird walk. The morning was cold but clear with no wind. The wetlands again
were filled with large numbers of geese and ducks. Over half the pond was
covered in a layer of ice. Green-Winged Teal topped the duck list in numbers.
Also sighted were large numbers of goldfinch and flicker.
