Nine birders took the weekly Huntley Meadows Monday Morning birdwalk today.
Temperatures in the mid-20s and a light breeze caused all to bundle up.
Highlights were several Eastern Bluebirds exploring potential nesting cavities
giving all a prospect of an early Spring, and two Bald eagles (adult and
immature) flying overhead causing quite a stir with the large flock of
Ring-billed Gulls resting on the central pond ice.
