Gentle Readers,
Ken Hamilton and Mike Ready led the Monday Morning Bird Walk at Huntley Meadows
Park today. Monday, August 1, 2005, from 0710 to 0935. The weather was hot and
very humid, not unlike most August days in the Washington area. The beavers
have been actively managing what little water remains in the Central Pond.
Seemingly, there were Yellow-billed Cuckoos everywhere this morning.
