Gentle Readers,
Mary Floyd, and Sy Fishbein led a group of nine birders on the Monday Morning
Birdwalk on the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows Park yesterday, November 15, from
0700 to 0910. The weather was sunny and cold with calm winds. The Red-headed
Woodpeckers remain down Barnyard Run.

Huntley Meadows Park can be reached from the Beltway by driving south on US
Route 1 approximately three miles to Lockheed Boulevard. Turn right on
Lockheed Boulevard and proceed to the intersection of Lockheed and Harrison
Lane. The Park entrance is on the left.
The regularly scheduled Monday Morning Birdwalk is open to all; the group meets
at 0700 in the Visitor's Center Parking Lot.
