I saw a pair of Starling-sized blackbirds near by house the other day. I
only got a good look at one of them: yellow eyes, dark bill, and a very
dull black. I didn't notice any gloss at all. As it flew onto the sidewalk,
I noticed a dull purple color on its back. Any help would be most
appreciated.
