There has been an injured male Mallard around the marina at Burke
Lake. Looks like he was a damaged / broken wing. He seems to be
foraging ok, and his mate is hanging around with him. She was
carrying a fish over to him yesterday when a gull came and stole it :(
I got plenty of clear shots of the / a "mystery goose" at Huntley
Meadows today. In an hour or so, I'll have a few up on my PBASE
site. I'll make a new gallery called mystery goose.
