Leaving work today at 7:15 PM, I found a nice concentration of terns and gulls
sat down in a nearly vacant parking lot at North Anna Power Station (Louisa
Co). Birds in the congregation pointing bills into the northeast winds coming
out of Irene were 35 Common Tern, 5 Caspian Tern, 1 Royal Tern, 2 SOOTY TERN
(both adults), 25 Ring-billed Gull, 2 Herring Gull, and 1 first cycle Lesser
