Hi Everyone,
After returning last week from a trip out West to CA and UT, it's nice to be
home and to see some ducks in my neighborhood. I took a short walk around
the neighborhood lake (Ironbridge Lake) this morning. Highlight was a
single Canvasback. Species list is below.
Bufflehead (1 male, 4 female)
Hooded Merganser (6)
Pied-billed Grebe (2) - Unfortunately, one was caught up in some fishing
line and seemed in distress. Is there anything that can be done?
Ruddy Ducks (30+)
American Coot (20)
Ring-necked Ducks (12)
White-throated Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Eastern Towhee (1)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (2)
Mute Swan
Mallard, Canada Geese
Several Hundred Ring-billed Gulls
Canvasback (1)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (5)
Chickadee, Titmouse, Mourning Dove
Eastern Bluebird (2)
