An interesting and informative article on boreal irruptive species
coming southward is now posted on Virginia eBird. It is well written by
Matthew Medler of the Boreal Songbird Initiative
<http://www.borealbirds.org/> . Check it out at
http://ebird.org/content/va/index.html and consider bookmarking this
site for more birding and ornithology news. Within a few days we expect
to have an article on CBCs in Virginia, including status and location of
all the 2007 counts.
