[Va-bird] James River Park, 42nd Street

Jan Frye and I birded James River Park at 42nd street today, from around
9:00 until noon.  We saw or heard 9 species of warblers:

Blackpoll
Chestnut-sided
Black and White
Black-throated Green
Black-throated Blue
Yellow Rump
Prothonotary
Yellow Warbler
American Redstart

Other migrants:
Scarlet Tanager
Swainson's Thrush
Veery (Jan saw one exhibit flycatching behavior, which seems odd)
Many Baltimore Orioles
Spotted Sandpiper

Other birds of interest:
White-throated Sparrows (2) - Anyone else still seeing them?
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher
Gray Catbird
Red-winged blackbird
Eastern Kingbird
Great Crested Flycatcher
Acadian Flycatcher

And, of course, the usuals: Blue jay, Cardinal, Chickadee, Titmouse,
Grackle, Mourning Dove, House Sparrow, Carolina Wren
