The Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory (CVWO) plans to hold this year's
Kiptopeke Challenge on 26 September, so save that date for a fun day of
birding. Remember, there are 4 categories in which to participate: 24-hour,
3-hour, Special Venue and Youth. The format may change slightly as we ensure
compliance with whatever the Coronavirus guidance is at that time. This may
even mean that teams of one will be the norm. We will provide further
guidance as the date approaches.
This single-day birding even is CVWO's main fundraising event to support all of
our educational outreach, research and habitat conservation initiatives. To
learn more about these CVWO initiatives, or more specifically about the
Kiptopeke Challenge, visit our website at https://vawildliferesearch.org/ Â or ;
