wind moderate East, sky partly to mostly cloudy, 77-82 degrees F
Raptor Observations:
Another excellent day of kites, continuing from yesterday, with five
Mississippis and one Swallow-tailed seen today. Also a good diversity of
other raptors starting to move.
Non-raptor Observations:
4 Great Egrets, 4 dowitcher sp., 268 Eastern Kingbirds, 675 Purple Martins,
12 Tree Swallows, 37 Barn Swallows, 7 Cliff Swallows, 7 Blue-gray
Gnatcatchers, 447 Red-winged Blackbirds, 4 Baltimore Oriole
Predictions:
south wind tomorrow with a high of 89 and a 20% chance of showers- probably
not a lot of migration, but hopefully some more kites!
