Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end   time: 17:30:00
Total observation time: 11 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel

Observers:        Bob Ake, Hal Wierenga, Harry Armistead, Julia Magill,
Kevin McGann, Lynn Davidson, Rose Leong, Sue Ricciardi,
                  Wes Hetrick

Weather:
Light winds were variable with a westerly component, often southwesterly in
the afternoon. Skies were mostly clear, with a few clouds in the afternoon.
Temperatures were mostly in the mid seventies to mid eighties.

Raptor Observations:
The morning was very slow, but things took a complete turn for the better
in the afternoon. We had an excellent afternoon flight, with plenty of
kestrels in particular.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-breasted Nuthatches (at least three) seemed quite active in the
loblollies behind the feeder. There wasn't much other activity from
non-raptor migrants today. We saw 29 Monarchs.
