Observation start time: 06:30:00
Observation end   time: 17:30:00
Total observation time: 11 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel

Observers:        Brian Taber, Hal Wierenga, Harry Armistead, Julia Magill,
Kevin McGann, Lynn Davidson, Rose Leong, Wes Hetrick

Visitors:
It was nice to have visitors from High Country Audubon Society and a group
of Master Naturalists today. Thanks for visiting!

Weather:
Light winds were variable, mostly with a westerly component. Skies were
clear to mostly sunny, with temperatures soaring well into the eighties.
(Isn't it supposed to be October?)

Raptor Observations:
There was a decent flight today, with very nice low and close looks at
birds. We had some especially nice views of peregrines. Most of the
peregrines that we are seeing are still adult birds.

Non-raptor Observations:
There was a flight of several hundred Northern Flickers today. Other
observations included:

20 Blue Jays
8 Red-bellied Woodpeckers
7 Red-headed Woodpeckers
4 Cedar Waxwings
3 Red-breasted Nuthatches
1 Black-and-white Warbler
1 Eurasian Collared-Dove
1 Great Egret
1 Green Heron
1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
1 Yellow-rumped Warbler

44 Monarchs
1 Red Admiral
