Weather:
Light winds were generally from the southwest, with sunny skies and
temperatures in the high sixties to low eighties.
Raptor Observations:
Relatively slow, with mostly Ospreys and some kestrels moving. The first
broad-wing of the season passed far off to the east.
Non-raptor Observations:
There was an amazing movement of Red-headed Woodpeckers today, with
nineteen seen heading southwards. Many Chimney Swifts (~204 individuals)
and Barn Swallows were also moving. Other highlights included:
2 Red-bellied Woodpeckers
15 Monarchs
1 Gray Squirrel
