Thank you to Dr. Dan Cristol and his students from the College of William
and Mary for visiting.
Weather:
Light winds were from the east northeast and east southeast. Skies were
mostly cloudy to overcast in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the
afternoon. Temperatures were in the sixties.
Raptor Observations:
We had an excellent Osprey flight for this point in the season, and a
strong Bald Eagle flight as well. Most birds came through during the late
morning.
Non-raptor Observations:
There was another large American Robin flight this morning. Other
observations included:
311 southbound Turkey Vultures
16 Common Loons over land
14 Eastern Meadowlarks
7 Wood Ducks
3 Horned Larks
2 American Pipits
2 Hooded Mergansers
1 Hermit Thrush
1 Pine Siskin
125 Monarchs
