Weather:
Strong winds were generally from the east northeast, with overcast skies
and temperatures in the sixties and low seventies.
Raptor Observations:
Falcons are here! There was a nice late afternoon movement of kestrels and
Merlins, with quite a few chasing interactions between Merlins. One Merlin
repeatedly captured dragonflies and landed on the telephone pole nearby.
Non-raptor Observations:
It was a quieter morning compared with the past few days. Sightings
included:
34 White Ibises
1 Great Egret
1 Wilson's Snipe
10 Monarchs
