Observation start time: 06:45:00
Observation end   time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 9.75 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel, Brian Taber

Observers:        Brian Taber, Joe Beatty, Tim Barry

Weather:
Light winds were mainly from the west southwest, with a brief period of
clouds in the morning but mostly clear skies. Temperatures were in the
seventies to low eighties.

Raptor Observations:
Movement was relatively slow, with birds often distant on the east side.
The Swallow-tailed Kite remains in the area, and it was seen hunting
multiple times throughout the day, in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
This is almost certainly the same bird from yesterday; one side of the tail
is longer than the other, which is a helpful individual ID clue.

Non-raptor Observations:
A large adult Eastern Ratsnake slithered under the platform this morning.
Non-raptor activity was relatively slow, but highlights included:

7 Common Nighthawks
1 Blackburnian Warbler
1 Red-headed Woodpecker

1 Common Wood-Nymph
