Weather:
Light to moderate winds were generally from the east, with mostly to partly
cloudy skies and temperatures in the high seventies. The weather was quite
pleasant; maybe fall is finally on the way!
Raptor Observations:
There was a fantastic kestrel flight and great raptor diversity today! We
also enjoyed watching several large kettles of ~40-60 broad-wings.
Accipiters are finally starting to reach us, and we had some great looks at
harriers.
Non-raptor Observations:
Songbirds were quieter than expected, but a few warblers were around,
including a good number of Pine Warblers. Highlights included:
1 Black-throated Blue Warbler
1 Eurasian Collared-Dove
1 Palm Warbler
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch
