Weather:
Light winds started off from the west and west northwest, becoming
northerly in the afternoon. Skies were mostly cloudy, with temperatures in
the mid sixties to low eighties.
Raptor Observations:
It was a good day of Osprey movement, with decent falcon and accipiter
numbers.
Non-raptor Observations:
We had another Wood Stork sighting today, which was likely the same bird
seen on 9/17. The bird was seen at 9:23 am EST heading southwards,
relatively low over the platform. Thirty eight Monarchs were seen today.
