Observers: Harry Armistead, Joe Beatty
Visitors:
It was great to have a group of second graders from Kiptopeke Elementary
School visit to learn about raptor and Monarch migration.
Weather:
Strong winds were mainly from the northeast and east northeast, with
overcast skies and temperatures in the seventies. There was a bit of
drizzle in the early morning and late afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
Slow, although the Merlin flight was decent.
Non-raptor Observations:
Passerines were very quiet under these blustery conditions. One Great Egret
flew by.
