Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end   time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel

Observers:        Julia Magill, Rose Leong, Wes Hetrick

Weather:
Light winds were generally from the southwest, with partly cloudy skies
becoming mostly clear in the afternoon. It was a hot day, with temperatures
in the mid seventies to mid eighties and little breeze.

Raptor Observations:
The morning had a slow start. The afternoon was better, but most of today's
raptors were tiny specks flying relatively low on the east side. Given this
pattern, there may have been a more significant flight going on out of
sight along the eastern side of the peninsula.

Non-raptor Observations:
A few small flocks of Red-winged Blackbirds passed this morning. Other
observations included:

5 Red-headed Woodpeckers
2 Bobolinks
2 Brown Thrashers
1 Common Nighthawk

6 Monarchs
1 Common Five-lined Skink
