Visitors:
Yesterday and today, we enjoyed having several visits from Kiptopeke
Elementary School groups. We hope to see you tomorrow for Outdoor
Exploration Day at the park!
Weather:
Windspeed started out strong to moderate, but quickly became light. Winds
were mostly from the west and northwest, with overcast to mostly cloudy
skies and temperatures in the seventies.
Raptor Observations:
There was a good Osprey, Bald Eagle, and falcon flight today. A few kettles
of broad-wings passed. We are still waiting for accipiters, and hope they
will arrive in numbers soon.
Note: We have the live updates website for the Kiptopeke hawkcount up and
running (currently on a sporadic basis) at this time. Check it out on the
Dunkadoo website!
