Howdy all,
Today was actually a very, very slow day banding only 11 birds. We did catch
a KENTUCKY WARBLER today, a species that we don't seem to catch every year
here. We also caught our first BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER of the season as
well.
Here is the quick list for the day:
American Redstart 1
Common Yelowthroat 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
Kentucky Warbler 1
Traill's Flycatcher 1
Veery 1
Northern Cardinal 1
Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1
American Robin 2
TOTAL ------------------------------ 11
Hope it gets a little better tomorrow.
Cheers,
Jethro Runco
