Apologies for the late post -- I goofed and then goofed again!
Nick Flanders, Stuart Sweetman, and I visited Hog Island during the afternoon
of this past Sunday. Nothing too unusual, but seeing the groups of Bobolinks
(nice views) and Bank Swallows was very nice. Numbers listed below are on the
low side. Most of the shorebirds were by the observation platform. Wind kept
insects away, but made it difficult to hear the shorebirds. The yellowlegs made
me feel as if I couldn't ID them anymore. No White Pelicans were seen.
